Update pediatric surgery worldwide, X-RAY as a tool for diagnosis in pediatric surgery, congenital malformations and pediatric surgical pathology in LMIC.
Objectives
- The participant will get knowledge of the current status and challenges of pediatric surgery in LMIC.
- The participant will gain knowledge of the essentials of diagnostic XRAYs in pediatric surgical patients.
- The participant will understand the treatment of congenital malformation and pediatric surgical pathology as abdominal wall defects, intestinal atresia, anorectal malformations, Hirschsprung disease and typhoid fever in LMIC.
Practical
Group sessions and interactive discussions in 5 important pediatric pathologies.
