Ryan Ellis (MD) is an anaesthetist currently based in The Royal London Hospital, UK, and works within the Perioperative and Critical Care Research department. He has experience working in the UK, Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania. As well as being current President of GASOC (Global Anaesthesia, Obstetric and Surgery Collaboration) he is also a member of the Ledership Council for EECC (Essential Emergency Critical Care), a member of the APPRISE (African Partnership for Perioperative and Critical Care Research) group and editor of the World Anaesthesia Society, UK, Newsletter. He has worked with several WFSA associated education programmes, including SAFE (Safer Anaesthesia From Education) and VAST (Vital Anaesthesia Simulation Training) courses.”
