Zaitun Bokhary (MD) is a paediatric consultant surgeon at Muhimbili National Hospital, honorary lecturer at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences and a fellow of the college of surgeons of East Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA). She is currently serving as the president of the women medical association of Tanzania. She has championed the development of children surgery in MHN.
