Gnanaraj Jesudian (MD) is a Urologist & General Surgeon working in rural & remote areas for 4 decades helping with more than 100000 surgical procedures and starting MIS in 74 rural hospitals. He won many innovations awards like DST Lockheed Martin award, GE Health care award, Millennium Alliance award and is working on Gas Insufflation Less Laparoscopic Surgeries and Laptop Cystoscopies (both listed in WHO compendium). He has over 400 publications (with over 760 citations) and is the Secretary of the IFRS, Past President of ARSI and member of the board of Directors of the G 4 alliance. He received the Lancet Surgical Champion award and the GAPIO lifetime achievement awards and has three patents and founded Rural Surgery Innovations Private Limited.
