Andreas Lindner did his OR-technician training at the Johannes G. University in Mainz, worked there as an OR-Tech in the gynecology and pediatric surgery department. After that, he started in research by assisting laboratory- and animal trials. At the same time he started simulation training for pediatric laparoscopic surgery for students and physicians. Later he followed Prof. Oliver Muensterer to the pediatric surgery department at the Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich to create a practical simulation curriculum for pediatric surgery and assist in research.
