Hans Christian Schmidt, medical student at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), focuses on basic pediatric surgical research (AG Tomuschat) and is involved in teaching research and 3D modeling as founder and group spokesperson of the student surgical simulation laboratory at the UKE (SimLab – Students for Surgery). Since the summer of 2023, his goal has been to advance the further development of surgical teaching and research with SimLab and collaborations.
