Judith Stoltz, MD, PhD, MSC completed medical studies at the RWTH Aachen University and obtained a Master ́s degree in Global Health at the University Maastricht, NL. She is a board certified visceral surgeon, after training at the Department of General, Visceral and Transplant Surgery of the RWTH Aachen University and the Department of General, Visceral and Thoracic Surgery in Landshut-Achdorf. She has worked and lived in several countries in Latin America and has been involved with several advocacy organizations throughout her career, including the People ́s Health Movement. Currently, she is in training to also become a pediatric surgeon at St.Mary ́s Children’s Hospital in Landhut. More recently, she is vice-chair of G4 Alliance’s Pediatric Surgery Working Group, She is also leading a podcast series on Global Surgery with the Global Surgery Umbrella and holds her own lecture on Global Surgery at the Center for International Health, LMU Munich University.
