Differential diagnosis of acute abdomen in LMIC, tips and tricks for acute abdomen, background about suture material and anastomotic leakage, pre-per and postoperative complications.
Objectives
- The participant understand different differential diagnosis of acute abdomen in LMIC
- The participant will understand the impact of preoperative resuscitation of a patient with an acute abdomen
- The participant will understand the physiology of anastomotic leakage.
- The participant will be hands-on taught how to sew an bowel anastomosis.
Practicals
Hands-on bowel suturing, hands-on creation enterostomy.
