Shahnur Shah (MD) is a junior doctor from Kenya with a deep interest in orthopaedic surgery. His journey in medicine has been marked by a sincere dedication to learning and contributing to the field. As a former chair of the Students’ Surgical Forum in Kenya, Shahnur played a key role in training over 800 medical students in basic surgical skills. He also served as chair of InciSioN (International Student Surgical Network) for two years, a role through which he contributed to pushing for the cause of global surgery on an international scale. Shahnur is involved with the Harvard Global Orthopaedics Collaborative as a research associate and leader.
