Phyllis Tenkorang (MD) is a newly-qualified Specialist in Anesthesia and Critical Care from Ghana. She’s particularly passionate about Global Surgical systems strengthening with emphasis on exploring innovative and sustainable financing strategies and health policies for safe surgical care in Africa. She’s an early-career researcher in Global Surgery with the Global Anaesthesia, Surgery and Obstetric Collaboration (GASOC) and she enjoys volunteering as an Anaesthesia provider for surgical missions in local communities. Her hobbies include traveling to explore new cities and cultures and binging on comedy shows.
